Paris Hilton's My New BFF, also known simply My New BFF, was an American reality television show in which Paris Hilton searched for her new BFF (best friend forever). 16 women and two men competed in challenges in an attempt to become her new best friend.

Though Hilton was forbidden from revealing the winner before the show had fully aired, she had on two separate occasions accidentally referred to the winner as "she" - first on the September 25, 2008 airing of the Late Show with David Letterman, and again on the October 7, 2008 airing of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.[1]

On December 2, 2008, it was revealed on air that Brittany Flickinger became Paris's BFF.

Hilton is currently also shooting a British version of the series in London. Titled Paris Hilton's My New BBF (British Best Friend), it is set to air on ITV in January 2009.[2]

Contestant Selections

Prior to production, a website was set up for potential contestants to submit their videos on why they should be Paris's BFF, and casting sessions were also set up. Initially, the 18 people with the highest votes from other users would go on the show. However, the 10 contestants with the most amount of votes went on while the other 8 were selected by the producers.

TTYN - Talk To You Never, the goodbye message for eliminated contestants. Paris never said "TTYN" to Kayley, Onch, or Vanessa when they were eliminated. She said "TTYS" (Talk To You Soon) to Shelley after her elimination. And finally, she said "Sayonara!" after Bryan and Sinsu were eliminated, as they were in Japan along with Brittany and Natasha.

Shelley and Corrie were, but Paris felt that Shelley - who was picked for elimination by Vanessa - did not deserve to be up for elimination. She was then asked to switch spots with Kayley.) 7
Lauren Onch - who returned along with other eliminated BFFs for a special challenge - had told Paris that she was not cooperative during the challenge. The other BFFs had bad attitudes toward her as well. 8
Shelley Did not seem sad when she was "sent home" in the fake elimination challenge, thus making Paris feel like she would be happier back at home. 9
Corrie Paris felt that she cared more about herself than friendship. 9
Vanessa Specific reason not stated on air. Implication that Paris had a better connection with Brittany. And Vanessa was kind of a stalker 10
