It seems obvious to me that this 1927 work (drawn in 1927 and etched in 1928) is based on Hassam's visit to the coastal redwoods in Santa Barbara, perhaps a part of the Los Padres National Forest, where he saw Sequoia sempervirens. Viriditas (talk) 23:13, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
