Supporting Labour

At time of writing, in the BBC article cited he states that his application to join the Labour Party was "going in today". This makes it clear that while he now supports Labour, he is not a member. Hence it's not correct to say he has "defected" to Labour as this strongly implies that he's actually joined Labour. It's also debatable whether the fact box should suggest he is a Labour politician at this point, as this would also suggest he is a Labour member, although he's clearly not a Tory either. 90.219.224.94 (talk)

"Logan is one of the leading experts in Chinese politics and UK-China relations within UK politics".

This page seems to be in large part written by Mark. What the basis for the above statement? The page needs someone with better knowledge of Wiki-procedures than me to check it through and make it sound less like a eulogy than a source of impartial information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A06:5902:440A:4700:EC68:695B:C73C:1BF6 (talk) 15:06, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
