Hello BeanieFan11! I appreciate your message greatly! I did some digging, it turns out a roommate of mine had some fun with my computer while I was on a lunch break (I work from home,) so I don't want to fault the user who came at me, but what gets me is a complete absence of the benefit of the doubt, which is what caught me off guard. Either way, I really do appreciate your message, and I might still change my mind, but I'm going to take a break first I think. Zzuuzz is a CheckUser and there's nothing nonsensical about their comments. This is unfortunate to see.

Yeah, that's the thing, FormalDude, I left my computer unlocked, and have all my passwords saved (WP and other sites.) So, I'm certainly culpable, no doubt about it. I just thought being afforded the benefit of the doubt would be there, and it wasn't. Either way, I'm going to take some time away. Also, FormalDude, I wanted to say that I'm not blaming zzuuzz for this. I know how this technical data works. I just need to safeguard my computer better (not just for the purpose of protecting my WP profile.) I'm actually more pi$$ed about one of the articles I created being sent to AfD than I am about being IP autoblocked. Just wanted to make sure that it was clear, that I'm not blaming zzuuzz. Hi Cbl62! So, the situation that led to me considering this is absolutely my fault. I didn’t safeguard my work computer and consequently, somebody we live with used my computer (then his phone) to create an account for childish vandalism, AND send an article I created to AfD (which is what made me the most angry.) All this was done on the same WiFi, so naturally a check user discovered this. Still, absolutely my fault for not taking my account security serious enough. At first though, I was really thrown off, thinking I was about to be indefinitely blocked. Either way, I’m simply going to take some time away and recharge. Not sure if I can imagine not being a contributor here. I do appreciate your kind words, and I hope to keep seeing you around when I get back.
