Claire Liu (born on May 25, 2000 in Thousand Oaks, California) is an American tennis player. She won the 2016 Junior Wimbledon Doubles title with Usue Arconada, and was the runner-up at the 2017 Junior French Open. In 2017, she won the Wimbledon Girls' Singles title.
Liu has also won two ITF singles titles, and reached a career-high WTA singles ranking of No. 349.
Junior career
On July 10, 2016, Liu won the Girls' Doubles tournament at the Wimbledon Championships partnering fellow American Usue Arconada, defeating Georgian Mariam Bolkvadze and American Caty McNally in straight sets in the final.
Professional career
At the 2015 US Open, Liu was granted a wild card into the qualifying tournament. She beat Verónica Cepede Royg and ninth seed Jana Čepelová in her first two matches before losing to the 26th seed, Alexandra Panova, in the final round. Liu, alongside Taylor Fritz, was also given a wild card for the mixed doubles event; they were defeated in the first round by the fourth seeds and eventual champions, Martina Hingis and Leander Paes.
