Anime NebrasKon is an fan convention focusing on anime, manga, their fandoms, and East Asian culture in general. It's held in Nebraska and run by Otaku Jinrui, The University of Nebraska Lincoln's anime club. It takes place in the City Campus Student Union of the UNL.
Anime NebrasKon started in October 2004 as a one-day event and then expanded the next year into a full-fledged three-day convention on November 4-6, 2005, the first of its kind in Nebraska. That year welcomed guests Tiffany Grant, Jan-Scott Frazier and Shannon Townsend and had an attendance record of 400+.
