More information needs to be provided than this to justify why this actually belongs in an encyclopedia. Numerous unidentified people die every year; what makes this one unique or notable? Bearcat (talk) 23:35, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, this has more to do with being a tourist attraction and local legend that expanded into a "tall tale" nation-wide. There's also the possibility of a crime committed. I would not consider it a biography.--Bellatea (talk) 01:19, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The "Inscription" section doesn't match the inscription in the photo, which has "ear" instead of "hour" (makes no sense, but its not our job to edit facts) and a couple other differences. Not really knowing much about this matter I elect not to make the change, but someone bolder and/or more knowlegeable should do, I think. Herostratus (talk) 01:18, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The photo isn't an actual photo in as much as it is a black and white picture that was written over and tinted with color. The transcript on the page is correct. --Bellatea (talk) 05:39, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
