:IKR? Why the hell she didn't announce the name? And that poster with the announcement wasn't that flattering either. Hi all!!! This is Legolas and welcome to my talk page.
Cite error: There are January 2012Why is my edit a vandalism? In my opinion the new videography looks way better than the old one (that's active now), the video description on the main page doesn't make sense, since there are descriptions on the singles pages... Cheszy 12 January 2012 (UTC) Garbage GANCan you see/tell what is still needed in Only Happy When It Rains for it to pass? (and thanks for the review; because of it, I might fix the two previous Garbage songs that were killed in action - or even considering adding one more GA here!) igordebraga ≠ 02:18, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

(→) I used to like it, but alas, Talk That Talk hasn't aged well at all with me. I prefer listening to Loud than this. Every song except "We Found Love" sounds dated to me. — Legolas (talk2me) 11:25, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
A litte... helpHi there. I was wondering if you weren't too busy if you could take a look at 21's peer review. Any suggestions, big or small, would be greatly appreciated. No rush if you can't get to it right now. Hoping to take it to FAC in about a week. Thanks again. My main issue at the moment is prose and citation consistency. Orane (talk) 23:24, 30 January 2012 (UTC) WikiCup 2012 January newsletterWikiCup 2012 is off to a flying start. At the time of writing, we have 112 contestants; comparable to last year, but slightly fewer than 2010. Signups will remain open for another week, after which time they will be closed for this year. Our currrent far-away leader is Grapple X (submissions), due mostly to his work on a slew of good articles about The X-Files; there remain many such articles waiting to be reviewed at good article candidates. Second place is currently held by Ruby2010 (submissions), whose points come mostly from good articles about television episodes, although good article reviews, did you knows and an article about a baroness round out the score. In third place is Jivesh boodhun (submissions), who has scored 200 points for his work on a single featured article, as well as points for work on others, mostly in the area of pop music. In all, nine users have 100 or more points. However, at the other end of the scale, there are still dozens of participants who are yet to score. Please remember to update your submission pages promptly! The 64 highest scoring participants will advance to round 2 in a month's time. There, they will be split into eight random groups of eight. The score needed to reach the next round is not at all clear; last year, 8 points guaranteed a place. The year before, 20. A few participants and their work warrant a mention for achieving "firsts" in this competition.
We are yet to see any featured lists, featured topics or good topics, but this is unsurprising; firstly, the nomination processes with each of these can take some time, and, secondly, it can take a considerable amount of time to work content to this level. In a similar vein, we have seen only one featured article. The requirement that content must have been worked on this year to be eligible means that we did not expect to see these at the start of the competition. No points have been claimed for featured portals or pictures, but these are not content types which are often claimed; the former has never made a big impact on the WikiCup, while the latter has not done so since 2009's competition. A quick rules clarification before the regular notices: If you are concerned that another user is claiming points inappropriately, please contact a judge to take a look at the article. Competitors policing one another can create a bad atmosphere, and may lead to inconsistencies and mistakes. Rest assured that we, the judges, are making an effort to check submissions, but it is possible that we will miss something. On a loosely related note: If you are concerned that your nomination, be it at good article candidates, a featured process or anywhere else, will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges are reachable on their talk pages, or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. J Milburn and The ed17 00:11, 1 February 2012 (UTC) French source in Gaga articlesHi, I want to let you know that the source http://proxy.siteo.com.s3.amazonaws.com/disqueenfrance.siteo.com/file/dossierdepressesnep-midem2012.pdf is taken form the SNEP site http://www.disqueenfrance.com/fr/catalogpage.xml?id=430982&pg=1&cat=251362 (the last link). Anyway, I have added again France with this source http://www.disqueenfrance.com/fr/pag-259376-Classements-Annuels.html. Now I have a problem because here http://www.disqueenfrance.com/fr/pag-259376-Classements-Annuels.html we have the singles year-end chart (physical singles) and Born This Way is #31. On the digital singles year-end chart it is #22 (http://www.disqueenfrance.com/fr/pag-259376-Classements-Annuels.html?year=&type=8 ), and it's #22 on the combined chart (http://proxy.siteo.com.s3.amazonaws.com/disqueenfrance.siteo.com/file/dossierdepressesnep-midem2012.pdf ). Which chart should I use? And Judas - did not chart on the singles (physical singles) chart but it is #41 on the digital chart and #48 on the combined chart. The Edge of Glory charted only on the combined chart (#87). Which charts should I use? Album charted at #18 on the albums chart and combined chart, and #14 on the digital chart. The same here... Third opinionI reverted this edit merely because it is going into too much detail without sources. The editor spoke to me about the cultural significance of Beethoven and I told him that specific details like this regardlessly need sources per WP:PLOTSUM. (S)he dismissively expressed WP:IDHT. Please see the discussion. And this. I have no problem with its inclusion if it can be sourced, but right now it's simply bloated. Could you give some input. It'd be greatly appreciated. URGENTHi Legolas, I have just read that Lady Gaga's new single is McQueen coming out soon. Can you plaese tell me if this is true (it was on Wikipedia so I assume it is) and if so, what the source is (i.e. new album, featured single, re-release??) Thank You ;) Muthamonster (talk) 02:45, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
HeyDo you have access to Billboard.biz? Would you be able to tell me when Raining Men (song) charted at number 11 please? ([1]) Aaron • You Da One 18:05, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
I reverted an edit by an IP address as I questioned the sources and they reverted me as a vandlist so I reverted theirs as vandalism and left them a warning on their talk page. I'm signing off for the day and wondered if you can keep an eye on the page if they do it again and possibly warn them again and if they persist on it well you know what usually happens then. lol! Hope you are doing okay. As you know, reviews for BHG have been quite limited and I finally found this one; it says stripped down, back to basics music vid, reminiscent of Madonna's Cherish. So what do you think?
