According to Star Trek: Star Charts (pp. 56, 61, & 62, "United Federation of Planets I") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), Regulus (Alpha Leonis) was a muli-star with a B-class star, M-class star, and K-class star.
The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 2, p. 212 described Regulus as "a multiple star, the brightest of which is a blue-white main sequence star, located some 79 light years from Earth."
In August 2024, an annotated computer paste-up of the Subspacd Net Comm Ops star chart was put up for auction in the Entertainment Memorabiliia Live Auction: Los Angeles Summer 2024 by Propstore Auction. [1]
