Nicholas Lanier (born 1 October 1974; age 50) is an actor who appeared as an ensign who introduced Captain Jean-Luc Picard to his new command chair in a deleted scene from Star Trek Nemesis. His scenes were part of the special features on the Star Trek Nemesis (Special Edition) DVD. His costume was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1](X)

Lanier was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He studied acting under Kim Darby, and Diana Castle. He was featured in the drama Stay the Night (1992, with Judith Jones), the horror film Witchouse II: Blood Coven (1999, with Andrew Prine), the television series Party of Five (2000, with Scott Grimes and Adrian Sparks), the comedy Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth (2000, with Chris Palermo), the drama The Man Who Wasn't There (2001, with Lilyan Chauvin, Ted Rooney, Booth Colman, Rick Scarry, and Leonard Crofoot), and the sport drama The World's Fastest Indian (2005, with Carlos LaCamara, Bruce Greenwood, Eric Pierpoint, and William Lucking).

In 2008, he portrayed Speed Razor and served as producer on the crime comedy Hit Parade.

He works as an executive at Terror Films/Global Digital Releasing and works regularly in stage productions in and around Los Angeles.
