Tuvok's meditation lamp
A meditation lamp was a small fuel-powered lamp or candle used by Vulcans as a meditative tool. The lamp's taming of the flame, a chaotic, destructive force, serves as a metaphor for the Vulcans' control of their emotions.
Sub-commander T'Pol kept a meditation lamp in her quarters aboard Enterprise NX-01. (ENT: "Breaking the Ice", "The Forge")
Tuvok kept a meditation lamp in his quarters aboard the USS Voyager and used it to help Kes discover and focus her mental powers. (VOY: "The Gift")
In 2375, Tuvok used the lamp in guiding B'Elanna Torres through some meditation exercises. (VOY: "Juggernaut")
While Tuvok had introduced his lamp as a tool for others, he himself actually preferred to look at the stars while aboard Voyager. (VOY: "Night")
The lamp was was first used in Star Trek: Voyager and later re-used in Star Trek: Enterprise and was auctioned off by Christie's, as part of a lot of several items titled "T'Pol's personal effects". [1](X)
The Changeling posing as Tuvok had a meditation lamp among other props on his desk during the shooting of PIC: "Dominion", but the contents of the desk was not shown in the final episode. (TRR: "Dominion")
In 2381, Captain Sokel of the Vulcan vessel VCF Sh'vhal had a meditation lamp in his quarters. (LD: "wej Duj")
