Launching Voyager on the Web is a 6-minute special released on the VOY Season 1 DVD.

In this short, then StarTrek.com Supervising Producer Marc Wade was interviewed on 30 July 2003 about bringing Star Trek: Voyager onto the web.

He told that StarTrek.com brought the first movie website online back in 1994, Star Trek Generations. The following year they launched Star Trek: Voyager on the web to explain every detail about that new show, working closely with Michael Piller and Jeri Taylor. Among the features was the show bible, personnel files, audio files, mission logs, a technology section, and a quiz section. One of the features including Robert Picardo was directed by Dan Curry on the sickbay set.

Wade also speaks about the changes when this site became Star Trek: Continuum, accessible through the Microsoft Network, and in January 1998 StarTrek.com, with another change to the fourth version in summer 2003 to the official Paramount Network website for Star Trek.

The feature also includes clips from the episodes "Parallax" and "Time and Again" and a few behind the scenes shots from "Phage" and VFX second unit filming as well as a promotional shot of Robert Picardo.
